MVSD's Out of School Time programs kicked off September 8th with a full slate of enrichment activities across all four schools, running through November 19th. New this year: Jodi Stone joins as Site Coordinator at Swanton, and Kristi Kollar takes on the role of MVSD Wanderers' Theater Director — leading the district's first musical production under a new Act 78 performing arts grant, based at Franklin Central, where 94% of after school students have already signed up to participate. Program highlights this session include woodworking, Jr. Iron Chef, and pickleball at MVU; Highgate Actors' Theater, biking, and nature exploration at Highgate; and cooking, theater, and Trash to Treasures at Franklin. The CATALYST Future Readiness Center at MVU is hosting its annual launch party and internship award ceremony on September 17th, with guest speaker Shae Mercon of HireAbility on September 24th.
